Mrs. Flak was born In N.Y.C. and was raised on Long Island. Long Island is
in the suburbs about 40 miles away from N.Y.. She graduated from SUNY at
Brockport located in upstate N.Y. She first started teaching first grade in
Rochester, New York. She has two sons Keith and Gregg. Both boys graduated
from University of Texas. Mrs. Flak is very proud of her sons; Keith became
an orthopedic surgeon and Gregg has his own electronics business. Ethan was
born July 15, 2006 and now she is a proud grandma! Another grandchild
arrived on December 11, 2007 and finally a beautiful little girl named
Sophia. Teaching is her passion and she has been teaching for 30 years.
Mrs. Flak never gets out of first grade because she loves it! Her other
passions are reading, writing, shopping and traveling. Fancy words and
writing are her specialty. A love of her life is her fiance Stephen and her
llhaso-maltese puppy naughty Pandy Bear. The children will be invited to
trick-or-treat at her house to meet little Pandy!
